The volunteers are in need of beds, bedding, couches, chairs, tables, household goods and other items needed to set up housekeeping for these residents need.  Anyone wishing to donate items can contact Heidi Smith at 842-1872 to arrange for pickup.

Who Will Dry Our Tears? 

Weekend retreat May 7-9 for parents who have experienced the death of a child. Presentations by Johnnette Benkovic, Founder of “Living His Life Abundantly International” and “Women of Grace.” Retreat is sponsored by the House Of Mercy and Encouragement and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, and will be at the Bethany Center, Lutz, FL. Grief Support 

St. Stephen partners with LifePath Hospice to provide grief support. New Beginnings is a six-week support group for adults grieving the loss of a loved one. Circle of Friends provides ongoing support. Circle of Love is designed especially for grieving children. For information, call Diane Schnelly of LifePath Hospice at 877-2200.

Volunteer Opportunity

Attention Eucharistic Ministers & Sacristans: The Bereavement Ministry needs you! Do you have a couple of hours now and then to help at funerals? The bereavement ministers take care of the family, but not all of them are Eucharistic Ministers and Sacristans.
