SPC Mission Statement

To create, with the involvement of our community of faith, a dynamic plan of action that identifies and prioritizes the needs and opportunities for the future of St. Stephen’s.

 

SPC Information

1. A summary of the strategic planning report from the committee was mailed to all registered parishioner households in October 2007.

2. The Strategic Planning summary is available on the website ( please add link to the summary listed on the home page )

3. Key issues addressed in the Strategic plan:
Buildings, Facilities and Space Needs
Interim Needs
Teens
Communication and Parish Management Structure
Parishioner Contact Management
Ministries
Outreach

4. Backup data and the consultant’s overview are available for review in the parish office after November 15, 2007.

5. An official Strategic Planning Committee should be ongoing and review progress and set goals with any adjustments each year, with action & steering committees reporting to the official SPC.

6. During all masses the last weekend of September 2007, parishioners were asked to vote on the Vision Statement to represent St Stephen Church.

7. Our Vision Statement: Building a community or Faith, Hope and Love.

8. Thank you to all participants in the Open Forums, email correspondence and especially to the Action Team members that helped to interview and gather information.
