You have expressed interest in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation here at St. Stephen. We welcome you.  May the Lord guide you and give you peace and wisdom during this process.  
 
The Adult Confirmation process is a wonderful interactive opportunity for Catholics who have not had the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Confirmation to complete their full initiation into the Catholic Church.  Sessions are weekly, beginning in the fall.  The Confirmation celebration takes place annually and is arranged in accordance with the Bishop’s calendar.  

 Who is eligible for the Adult Confirmation Program?

• College and older
• Baptized in the Catholic Church
• Received First Communion and Reconciliation
• If  you are currently married it must be a Catholic Church Marriage  

• We ask that you please contact Rosie Bridges before completing the online registration at 813-671-4434.  
• We ask you to commit to full participation in all 6 sessions beginning October, 2024.

• • There is a registration fee of $25.00 submitted at the time of registration.

  • Current Baptism Certificate -  A Current Baptism Certificate is a certificate that is current which includes sacramental notations.  This Current Certificate can only be obtained through your church of baptism.  
  • Registration Fee $25.00 - you can pay on our website under online giving

• Be a practicing Catholic, regularly attend Catholic Mass and receive the Eucharist.
• Is over the age of 16 and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
• Is not a parent to the candidate who will receive the Sacrament.
• Understand and accept the obligations of a Godparent/Sponsor, to lead a life of faith and to pray and assist my candidate in his/her spiritual growth.
• Regularly celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
• If not married OR Is single, never been married.
• If married Marriage recognized as a Catholic marriage; (married in      the Catholic Church or celebrated Convalidation of Marriage.)
• Is a parishioner of a Catholic Church
