* Pray for Her to send you a soul that needs your help every morning.

What is the general meaning of Consecration?
In a general sense, the term "consecration" refers to the act of dedicating oneself to a specific purpose or intention. To "consecrate" yourself essentially means to wholly dedicate yourself to something of greatest important.

In religion, the word consecration is commonly used in reference to the official ordaining of a person to be a pastor, priest, or missionary. This use implies that consecration is something that’s reserved for a special category of people.

So, consecration has two senses. On one hand, it refers to the dramatic, conscious acts of decision in which we dedicate ourselves to God and give ourselves utterly to God. On the other hand, it is a way of describing the Christian's life as it should be lived. Such a life is consecrated because it consists of practices that please God.

A Marian consecration flows from the grace of our Baptism, through which we were originally consecrated, or “set apart,” for Jesus Christ and grafted into His life in the Church. Mary is the prototype of a consecratory response to God’s will.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to create awareness and promote consecration to Jesus through Immaculate Heart of Mary by holding consecration preparations, Conferences, and other special projects that will empower men and women who are already consecrated. As Catholics, many of us know of Mother Mary but do not truly know Her. This ministry will help people grow in our Faith by developing a stronger relationship with Jesus through a better understanding of the Blessed Mother.

Our Mission

• To empower consecrated men and women on how to grow spiritually in our faith as they grow closer to Jesus through Blessed Virgin Mary. (During my discussions with many people in order to substantiate the need for this ministry, I found out that a lot of people don’t know about consecration to Jesus through Mother Mary and those that know, didn’t know what to do after consecration. Most of them thought that once consecrated, there is no other obligations or they don’t have to do anything else anymore).
• Creating an ongoing Consecration awareness and 33 days consecration retreats in our parishe.
• Ongoing education on how to maintain and live life of holiness after Consecration by applying Mother’s virtues in their practical everyday living both at home, work and everywhere.
• The ways we accomplished these through our unique spirituality approach are:
  • Maria movement: Consecration to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary – Life after consecration: 1. Daily renewal prayers, 2. Weekly prayers, 3. Monthly meeting / prayers (1st Saturday Devotion), 5. Annual Renewal of Consecration 6. Ongoing consecration retreat of new members.
  • Visitation of the Blessed Sacrament (Daily or Weekly Visit)
  • Scriptural: Lectio Divina- Contemplative Prayer

1. 1. 1. By doing 33 days of consecration preparation retreat usually falls on a Marian Feast day.
      2. One can choose to prepare this 33 days in many different ways. A. by oneself. B. family and friends. C. Parishes or Diocese D. Groups
      3. Resources: There are many books to use out there but our Diocese has been using The Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitely. Another good option which is the oldest book worldwide is Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary by St. Louis De Montfort.
      4. Our Ministry has held many groups and private  33 days preparation retreat in the past and more to come.
