Faith Community Nursing is a specialized practice of nursing that focuses on the intentional care of the spirit, promoting wholistic health and prevention of illness.
The Faith Community Nurses of St. Stephens (est. 2006) are a group of volunteers who work in conjunction with the priests, staff and other ministries (especially St. Vincent DePaul food pantry), as a resource for people to provide health advocacy to those in need.
Faith Community Nursing requires a current active Florida RN license. We are affiliated with BayCare Health System. We meet informally on an as needed basis.
Faith Community Nurses meet on Fridays from 9:30 AM – Noon at the Family Life Center all year round. To be a member of the ministry, nurses must have an active Florida RN license.
